FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

Everything people ask before they switch: pricing, cancelling, which platforms, whether it really posts, and how we handle your data. No runaround.

Pricing and billing

Is there really a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with 7 days free and full access to the product. No card is required to start, so you can connect your accounts and watch real posts go out before you ever pay.
Do you charge per account or per seat?
No. Every plan is one flat monthly price. You pick a plan by how many accounts you connect (Starter 3, Pro 10, Team 25), and team seats are included in the price. We never add a per-channel or per-seat tax that punishes you for growing.
What is the difference between the plans?
Mostly how many accounts you can connect, plus a few power features like per-platform caption overrides, the drag-drop calendar, client approvals, and team seats. Confirmed posting, auto-retry, and real support are in every plan. See the full comparison on the pricing page.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from your billing page, and the change applies right away. You are never locked into a tier you have outgrown or no longer need.
Do you offer refunds?
If PostDodo is not working for you, email support within 14 days of a charge and we will sort out a refund. We would rather give your money back than have you fight a chargeback. The free trial also means most people never pay for a month they did not want.

Cancelling

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click from your account. No surprise renewals, no retention maze, and no emailing support to beg. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your scheduled posts stop going out, and you can export or review your post history while your account is open. When you close your account we delete your personal data and disconnect every platform, removing the stored tokens. Nothing keeps running quietly in the background.

Platforms and posting

Which platforms does PostDodo support?
Bluesky, Threads, TikTok, Mastodon, X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. One composer, real multi-platform, with per-platform tweaks when you want them.
Does it really post, or does it just say it did?
It really posts. After publishing we read back the platform's own post link as a receipt, so every successful post carries proof it went out. If a platform hiccups, we auto-retry with backoff instead of silently dropping the post, and we warn you before a connected account expires so nothing fails mid-launch.
What happens if a post fails?
It never fails silently. Transient platform errors are retried automatically. If a post still cannot go out, we mark it clearly in your post log and tell you why, so you can fix it on your terms rather than discovering it days later.
Can I tailor a post per platform?
Yes. Write once in the composer, then override the caption, hashtags, or formatting for any specific platform. One idea, shaped to fit each network, without copy-pasting across five tabs.
Can I schedule threads, carousels, and video?
Yes, where the platform's own API allows it. You can schedule single posts, image carousels, and video, and PostDodo tailors the upload to each platform's requirements behind the scenes.

Reliability and security

How are my account tokens stored?
The access tokens each platform issues are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and are readable only by the server that publishes your posts. We never see or store your platform passwords. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
Will you ever post without me asking?
No. We only publish the posts you compose and schedule. There is no auto-content, no engagement automation, and nothing posts on your behalf that you did not set up.
What happens when a platform token expires?
We watch token expiry and warn you in the app before it can break a scheduled post. You reconnect on your own time, instead of finding out because a launch quietly failed.

Teams and developers

Do you support teams and client approvals?
Yes. The Team plan includes 3 seats at no per-seat fee and a client approval workflow, so a teammate or client can review a post before it publishes. Need more seats? Contact support and we will sort it.
Is there an API?
Yes. The PostDodo API lets you create and schedule posts and receive webhooks for delivery status, so you can wire posting into your own tools. See the developer documentation for endpoints and sample code.
How do I get help from a human?
Email support@postdodo.com and a real person, the people who built PostDodo, will answer. No ticket maze, no bot wall. More options on the resources page.
