FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

PostDodo is a social media scheduler that posts to all 10 major networks today: Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. It confirms every post actually published by reading back the live link. Flat pricing from $25 a month, 7 days free, cancel anytime.

Does PostDodo really post reliably?

Does PostDodo actually confirm my post published?
Yes. After publishing, PostDodo reads back the platform's own post link as a receipt, so every successful post carries proof it went out. You see the live URL, not a hopeful checkmark. No more wondering whether a scheduled post actually fired.
What happens if a post fails?
It never fails silently. Transient platform errors are retried automatically with backoff. If a post still cannot go out, PostDodo marks it clearly in your post log and tells you why, so you can fix it on your terms instead of finding out days later.
Does PostDodo warn me before a connection breaks?
Yes. PostDodo watches each platform token's expiry and alerts you in the app before it can break a scheduled post. You reconnect on your own time, rather than discovering a launch quietly failed because an account silently expired.
Will PostDodo ever post without me asking?
No. PostDodo only publishes the posts you compose and schedule. There is no auto-generated content, no engagement automation, and nothing posts on your behalf that you did not set up yourself.
Can I schedule threads, carousels, and video?
Yes, where the platform's own API allows it. You can schedule single posts, image carousels, and video, and PostDodo tailors each upload to that platform's requirements behind the scenes.

Which platforms does PostDodo support?

Which platforms does PostDodo support?
All 10 platforms are live to connect today: Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. One composer covers them all, with per-platform tweaks when you want them. See the platforms page for what each one can do.
Does PostDodo support Bluesky and Mastodon?
Yes, both are live. Bluesky gets first-class support that most incumbents still lack: scheduled, confirmed posts and replies. Mastodon works with any instance you bring, including content warnings and visibility controls. This is a core reason people switch to PostDodo.
Is Threads, X, or TikTok available yet?
Yes. Threads, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest all connect today, in a click, no developer app. Each one returns the same confirmed-published receipt as every other platform, with auto-retry on failure.
Can I tailor a post per platform?
Yes. Write once in the composer, then override the caption, hashtags, or formatting for any specific platform. One idea, shaped to fit each network, without copy-pasting across five browser tabs.

How much does PostDodo cost?

How much does PostDodo cost?
Plans start at $25 a month. Starter is $25 for 15 connected accounts, Growth is $39 for 25 accounts plus page insights and analytics, Pro is $49 for 50 accounts plus a unified inbox to read and reply to comments and DMs, and Agency is $99 for unlimited accounts with 3 team seats, a client approval workflow, and white-label reports. Every plan is one flat price, billed monthly, with no per-seat or per-channel tax. See the full pricing comparison.
Is there really a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with 7 days free and full access to the product. A card is required to start, with no charge until day 8, so you can connect your accounts and watch real posts go out, confirmed, before you are billed. Cancel anytime before then and pay nothing. Start your free trial.
Does PostDodo charge per account or per seat?
No. Every plan is one flat monthly price. You pick a plan by how many accounts you connect (Starter 15, Growth 25, Pro 50, Agency unlimited), and the Agency seats are included. PostDodo never adds a per-channel or per-seat tax that punishes you for growing.
What is the difference between the plans?
Mostly how many accounts you can connect, plus power features like per-platform caption overrides, the drag-drop calendar, client approvals, and team seats. Confirmed posting, auto-retry, and real support are in every plan, including Starter. See the full comparison.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If PostDodo is not working for you, email support within 14 days of a charge and we will sort out a refund. We would rather give your money back than have you fight a chargeback, and the free trial means most people never pay for a month they did not want.

Account, cancellation, and data

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click from your account. No surprise renewals, no retention maze, and no emailing support to beg. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from your billing page, and the change applies right away. You are never locked into a tier you have outgrown or no longer need.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your scheduled posts stop going out, and you can export or review your post history while your account is open. When you close your account, PostDodo deletes your personal data and disconnects every platform, removing the stored tokens. Nothing keeps running quietly in the background.
How are my account tokens stored?
The access tokens each platform issues are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and readable only by the server that publishes your posts. PostDodo never sees or stores your platform passwords. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
Do you support teams and client approvals?
Yes. The Agency plan includes 3 seats at no per-seat fee plus a client approval workflow, so a teammate or client can review a post before it publishes. Need more seats? Contact support and we will sort it.
Is there an API?
Yes. The PostDodo API lets you create and schedule posts and receive webhooks for delivery status, so you can wire posting into your own tools. See the developer documentation for endpoints and sample code.
How do I get help from a human?
Email support@postdodo.com and a real person, the people who built PostDodo, will answer. No ticket maze, no bot wall. More options on the resources page.
